Helen Watt - Anscombe Bioethics Centre
Dr Helen Watt is Senior Research Fellow at the
Anscombe Bioethics Centre (previously known as the Linacre Centre for Healthcare Ethics). Before taking up this post in 2010, she was Director of the Centre for 9 years, and held the position of Research Fellow there before that. From 1993 to 1996, she was also Senior Research Associate at Peterhouse, Cambridge. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh, and an honors degree in Italian from the University of Western Australia. She is the author of
Life and Death in Healthcare Ethics: A Short Introduction (Routledge, 2000) and the editor of
Cooperation, Complicity and Conscience (Linacre Centre, 2005), and of
Incapacity and Care (Linacre Centre, 2009).
