Eva Kittay - SUNY Stony Brook
Eva Kittay is currently Professor of Philosophy, Senior Fellow of the Stony Brook Center for Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care and Bioethics and an Affiliate of the Women's Studies Program at Stony Brook University.
She has published numerous articles in the areas that include philosophy of language, metaphor theory, feminist philosophy, feminist ethics, social and political theory, metaphor, and disability studies. She is the editor (with Linda Alcoff) of The Blackwell Guide to Feminist Philosophy
(Blackwell, 2006) and the author of Love's Labor: Essays on Women, Equality and Dependency
(Thinking Gender Series, 1999).
