Christine Mahoney is an Assistant Professor of Politics and Public Policy at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia. Her book Brussels vs. the Beltway: Advocacy in the United States and the European Union (Georgetown University Press, 2008) is the first large scale comparative study of lobbying in the US and the EU.
Her current research focuses on global advocacy on behalf of the displaced; studying how we can better fight for the rights of those who have been forced to flee their homelands due to ethnic and political violence.
