Ambrogia Cereda

Ambrogia Cereda is Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Culture and Society of the University of Navarra. She completed her PhD in Sociology and Methodology of Social Research at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan), where she collaborates with Modacult (Centre for the study of fashion and cultural production). Her main research interests are in the study of the body, with a special emphasis on gender, identity and emotions within the framework of visual culture. Her publications include, Tracce d'identità (FrancoAngeli, Milan 2010), “Tracing Identities: Body Modifications as Inscriptions of Gender” in Femininites and Masculinities in Action: On Theory and Practice in a Moving Field (Inter-Disciplinary Press Oxford 2012), and “El consumidor de publicidad” en Emociones y estilos de vida.
