Omar V. Rosas

Former fellow in the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) at the University of Navarra. His research interests include online media, philosophy and psychology of emotions, and the philosophy of technology. His recent publications include Compulsive Use of Social Networking Sites in Belgium: Prevalence, Profile, and the Role of Attitude Toward Work and School (CyberPsychology, Behavior and Social Networking), Public Engagement with, and Trust in, Online News Media in French-Speaking Belgium (Recherches en Communication), and the coauthored book Compulsive Computer Use and Knowledge Needs in Belgium: A Multimethod Approach. He is currently working on a project about the production and reception of affective storytelling in Spanish online news media.
