Agnieszka Nogal is head of the Political Philosophy Faculty at the University of Warsaw. Working in the fields of philosophy, law and political science, she is an Expert in political philosophy, discourse analysis, and normative conceptions of public sphere with specific interest in contemporary discussions on the nation state, the constitution, supranational law, European democracy, Jürgen Habermas’ political virtue of “Constitutional Patriotism,” and John Rawls political virtue of civility and civic friendship. She authored the book Supranational Law. European Constitutional Ideas (2009) and has published numerous articles in academic journals, and is co-founder and editorial member of the Civitas Magazine: Studies in philosophy of politics.
