Eunsil Oh

Eunsil holds a Ph.D. in sociology from Harvard University and is currently working as an Assitant Professor of Sociology and Asian Languages and Cultures in the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research considers how families mediate facets of inequality, and has applications to the fields of social class and gender; the social determinants of life course decisions; social policy; social stratification; and qualitative methods. Prior to joining the doctoral program, she studied feminism theories and methods and women's movement in Yonsei University (Seoul) and she also was an intern at National Opinion Research Center (Chicago).
